The Hesley Group provides specialist care, and vocational services for people that have complex needs, challenging behaviour and severe learning difficulties, arising mainly from autism. 

Fullerton House School is a specialist residential school, offering flexible education and care for up to 52 weeks per year, for young people aged 8 to 19. All of our young people have complex needs including behaviour that may challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism.

At Fullerton House School, young people live in the heart of the community, in an urban setting with facilities including a local sports centre with swimming pool, supermarket, outdoor market, shops, playgrounds, cafés, restaurants and large open spaces for outdoor activities.

We are looking for a confident manager to support and deputise in all aspects of care provision for a residential area.  This will involve staffing, budget and resource issues along with care planning and evaluation to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of our young people is paramount.

We’ll expect you to live and breathe our values by ensuring we take a person-centred approach that’s driven by quality and focused on positive outcomes. You will be a skilled practitioner who is able to build effective professional relationships with our key internal and external stakeholders.
Partnership with families and facilitating the voice of the people we support are priorities of our service. 

To be successful in this role you must have an in-depth knowledge of the issues affecting our people. You will be an excellent communicator with experience of effectively leading and managing a team.

It is essential that you have Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care and ILM Management Award would be a distinct advantage (or achieved within the first year)
