Established in 1975, the
Hesley Group provides flexible, specialist residential services and
schools. We aim to offer the best possible care, education and
vocational opportunities for children, young people and adults, often
with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including
behaviour which may challenge.
We are now looking to
appoint a Policy & Regulation Manager who will work collaboratively
with the Quality Governance Team. You will aim to support good
governance and service improvement across Hesley Group, leading to
positive experiences and outcomes for people we support, their families
and the commissioners of our services.
You will ensure that the
company operates within the required legal/regulatory framework and will
be responsible for developing, writing and maintaining current and
responsive policy and guidance. It is essential that you have knowledge
of all relevant legislation and guidance in place as specified within
the person specification, as well as knowledge and experience of risk at
operational and strategic levels in a relevant social care or health
setting. The successful candidate will also hold a Nursing or Social
Work Diploma/Degree or equivalent along with a management
You will build and maintain
strong working relationships with our external stakeholders and be
skilled in providing support for operational and strategic managers so
they understand and meet their legal obligations. In order to succeed
in the role, you will need strong analytical and communication skills.
