£35,000 per annum
Established in 1975, the Hesley Group provides flexible, specialist residential services and schools. We aim to offer the best possible care, education and vocational opportunities for young people and adults, often with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including behaviour which may challenge.
We are looking for a Quality & Compliance Officer to work as part of Hesley Group’s Quality Team. You will conduct regulatory-based inspections of Hesley Group’s children and adult services to make sure they are operating in line with statutory requirements and nationally agreed best practice for children and adult social care services. Your role will be to carry out specific tasks and duties including; brief writing, report writing, analysis, investigation/root cause analysis and ad hoc project assignments.
You should hold a relevant qualification in social work, nursing or an equivalent qualification. You will have an in depth knowledge of the relevant sections of the Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015, Health and Social Care Act 2008, Regulated Activities Regulations 2014 and Fundamental Standards. You will have the ability and skills to manage and further develop our IT based quality monitoring systems. We are looking for someone who has current experience at an operational level within a compliance, contract monitoring or commissioning role.
