£7.83 per hour (£7.38 if under 25)
Low Laithes is our adult service that is a former dairy farm that has been renovated and developed into a range of purpose built facilities. It is set in beautiful surroundings in rolling countryside near Wombwell Village and Barnsley town centre.
We are looking to appoint a Domestic Assistant within Low Laithes. You will work as part of a team to provide a safe, clean environment and the provision of quality services. The role involves various tasks that are essential to making the departments within Low Laithes efficient and happy places to live and work.
If you are a patient, caring and understanding individual, working with The Hesley Group will prove to be a fulfilling and rewarding career.
You will be responsible for cleaning all items in the areas allocated to you by your line manager whilst maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. It is important that you are able to use all the materials in a safe way and ensuring that they are stored away correctly. Your role will be mainly to prepare laundry for Low Laithes.
Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role, though this isn’t necessarily required as full training will be provided. You must be reliable and have good communication skills but most importantly have a passion for delivering a great service.
