King Street at Thorne, led by General Manager Dawn Davis and her dedicated team, provides flexible, specialist residential care for adults with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including behaviour which may challenge. 

Within King Street we are now looking to appoint a Part Time Property Caretaker.  The role is primarily about helping to maintain a clean, safe, functional and yet homely, friendly and pleasant environment in which people can live and work. The role involves a range of duties that are essential in maintaining and developing the premises, working alongside numerous staff from other departments who may need help in creating the right environment.

It is essential that you have knowledge of general health and safety requirements in the workplace as well as knowledge of basic DIY tasks related to joinery, electrical fittings and plumbing. You will also have experience carrying out maintenance tasks to a good standard and maintaining heating and hot water systems.
